Samples of projects I have worked on both individually and in groups.

This project was completed by my group at Fresno State University in conjunction with the University of Florida and The Diverse Book Finder website. Our group read 16 children's books of diversity, analyzed them, and recorded metadata for them. We then put our findings from the metadata into this condensed project focused on construction of identity.

This project was a collaboration with prospective high school English teachers on the issues of the current literary canon and the steps that can be taken to change the standards for teachers to have a more diverse and inclusive selection of books in their instruction.

This is an individual project that looks at Robert Frost's poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" through four different theoretical lenses including Stauffer's "Ethical Loneliness", Collins and Birge's "Intersectionality", Anzaldua's "Borderlands", and Saussure's "A General Course in Linguistics".

This individual project analyzes Jean Rhy's Wide Sargasso Sea (the unofficial prequel to Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte) through the perspective of ecocritical identification.
